Model and present the facilitation of math tasks in math deptt meeting with focus on 3b and 3c of Chicago teaching framework.
Right after the spring break on April 15, I shared the performance task on Similar triangles and transformations ( rigid and non-rigid) with Math faculty and administration.
Performance created was based on common core standards and benchmark performance tasks given by Chicago Board education to evaluate student growth and also used as one of the criterion of teacher evaluation.
Performance task was designed and created after students were given pre assessment to assess their prior knowledge.
I shared the resources, activities, assignments to be used in class to help students master standard based objectives and encourage them to communicate their understanding of concepts and skill.
I shared multi-modal ways of facilitations and teaching common core standards which will help students to understand and retain concepts for longer time.
Besides many assignments/activities I shared free online resources which could be utilized by math teachers.

I have also created two formative assessment lesson so that teachers can adjust their instructional strategies to help students to do better in final performance tasks of this unit on transformations.
Math faculty and administration appreciated my efforts and found the resources to be helpful.
